Model Call for Voltage 2011

VISION MODEL MANAGEMENT invites Twin Cities area models for an open call to be a part of Voltage: Fashion Amplified. We are looking for female models with runway experience who are at least 18 years of age and 5’7” or taller and male models who are at least 18 years of age and 5’11” or taller. Models that are selected to be a part of the show will be in 2011s Voltage: Fashion Amplified runway and rock show at First Avenue on Friday, April 15th. Other time commitments will include fittings with a local designer, and a dress rehearsal on Sunday, April 10th. You must be available for these dates in order to participate.

To attend the open call, please arrive in a fitted shirt, skinny jeans and heels and be prepared to show your runway walk. Please bring a current photo (body shot, or head shot) that we may keep.

Chalet Dental ModelWorking with clients on the photography needs of their online and print advertising, it never ceases to amaze me how subliminal the effects of advertising are. Apart from apparel manufacturers who know they need models to make their clothes look good, most managers and business owners that I work with had no idea how important it is to have a human element in their advertising until they see with and without pictures side-by-side. Not that every shot has to have someone in it, but a website or advertising piece that is nothing but graphics, product shots and text usually comes off sterile and uninviting.
